Day 3 in Hong Kong ..

Today we seen the Big Budda!! Caught the tube to the other end of the city and after a 30 minute cable car ride up the mountains we arrived at Gnong Ping Village! Walked up sooooo many steps that my thighs were killing!! The Budda was massive and we had a look around the museum and visited the Po Ling monastery!! Sooo many monks chanting but we couldnt take any photos inside the temple! Rudee!! We also made some wishes under the Bodhi Wishing Tree ... So fingers crossed everyone!!

OMG!! Would you believe that at the top if the mountain was a subway?? But we didn't have subway for lunch!! We had some noodles and green tea and a yummy egg waffle, then made our way down the mountain!!

This evening we've been to Jordan, the other side of Hong Kong! We caught the Star Ferry across the water and visited the Night Market! Soooo many bargains!! Ginge (sarah) is an expert at bartering!! We had food in the street .. Fish balls (cannot believe I tried) thai BBQ pork, pork/beef/chicken kebabs, Thai fish cakes (amazing) and some rice and noodle dishes!! Delishhhhh!! Still need some practice using those chop sticks!!

Could get used to this!!
