Aunty Kim you made it to the blog!!

As we are relaxing on Chweng beach in Ko Samui, slurping away at a smoothie bar and waiting to go on a jet ski all we hear is BETHANNNN!! And there they are .... Aunty Kim and Uncle Chris strolling up the beach!! Congrats you've made it to the blog and no complaining of the piccys to come!! You asked for them lol!!

You spoilt us all to a night of cocktails so thank you very much!! But I won't be trying any oysters in a hurry, Chris you can keep them to yourself and I think you'll agree Aunty Kim! Have a fabulous holiday and see you soon!

We are leaving Ko Samui today and are waiting for the taxi to take us to the ferry. We've had our first bit of rain here and a few power cuts lol! We say goodbye to Moby Dick, our £4 a night guesthouse and the irish bar beneath us that pumped out dance music 24 hours a day!!

And we're on to the next .....

Island time .... Ko Tao x

We arrived in Koh Toa 3 days ago. We caught the night train from Bangkok to Chumphon an arrived at 4.30am (ouch) ready to get the ferry at 7am to Koh Tao!

We stayed at Spicey Tao Hostel .... Very snazzy NOT!!! We slept with ants and came home one night to find a lizard chilling on the wall opposite my bunk!! Thats not even the worst part, the snorers in the room were beyond!! And this Israeli guy needs some serious help!!!

However .... the beaches are beautiful and we've been on a pub crawl and watched a fabulousssss cabaret show!! We caught a taxi boat to Nangyaun Island, two islands joined by one stretch of sand with the sea on either sides, for some snorkelling in the Japanese Gardens and we walked to the highest point for a breathtaking view. Check out the piccys!!

Today we caught a very choppy ferry to Ko Samui (not what you need after a night out) and Hannah spent the journey being sick over the side of the boat haaaa!! Soz Han!! And as she was being sick someone else's sick blew in her face and a baby was sick all down her leg!! Sooo funnny!! Thank the lord for travel bands!!! I think we were all relieved when we finally arrived here!!

Bangkok

After a night on the sleeper train (which we were on time for this time!) with some interesting toilets we arrived in Bangkok for the third time!! We either had a choice of a squat toilet on a platform or a squat toilet which was literally just a hole in the train floor which you could see the train track if you looked down.

We spent a couple of nights on Kohsan Road drinking buckets and Ginge ate a scorpion!! That girl can stomach anythingggg!!! We also went for a foot, back, neck and shoulder massage on the street and everythiggggg clicked!!! Felt so good!!

We decided to go to the Grand Palace but you had to follow a dress code in order to be allowed in - long trousers and covered shoulders.. However a strappy top with a scarf round your shoulders doesn't count.. I got sent to borrow a rather attractive pink granny shirt! The palace was lush... so pretty!! Way nicer than buckingham palace, it was gold with mirrored bits all over! We also saw the temple of the Emerald Buddha and the Queens museum of textiles which had some amazing clothes in inc a jacket made out of beetle wings! It was so humid we were sweating BIG time! And after I'd returned the shirt they had run out so some poor person had to wear my sweaty shirt after me... Grim!

After the Palace we ended up going to the Siam centre and Ginge and I had all you can eat sushi (i don't think kate and bethan appreciated the raw fish as much as we did haha) an it was incredible! Then we ended up doing some shopping.. standard!

In the evening we went to the market and watched a ping pong show... It was weird. Don't think you can say much more about it ....

Lots of love Han xxxx
