Today we went on a boat trip (again) to see the Trang Islands, Ko Ngai, Ko Muk, Ko Kardan and Ko Sukron which all looked like something from the movies! We did a bit of snorkelling had a spicey Thai lunch and headed to Morakat Cave also known as the Emerald Cave. After an 80m swim through a pitch black cave with just one torch to guide us all, during which Bethan realised it smelled of wee and as the guide from Doncaster shone his torch upwards, all of sudden we could have been in Batman's cave!!! (Siany P wouldn't have enjoyed this!!) Bats EVERYWHERE!! It was all worth it as we entered a lagoon which was incredible! The roof top of the cave opened to let the sun shine in and the back of the lagoon looked like a rainforest!! After a few piccies we had to leave as a storm was brewing! As we swam back through the cave we met a thunder storm on the other side, the waves were crashing against our little boat and we spent the journey home crouching on the floor to shelter from the rain!! We got back to the hotel looking a bit pink but having a fantastic day!
We all can't wait for Ko Phi Phi tomorrow!!!!
