We arrived in Phi Phi to find there were absolutely no cars on the island so had to walk to our hostel luckily it wasn't that far from the ferry! We got to the hostel to find two girls from London who were in our dorm on Koh Toa and the guy in the bunk under Bethan (James) we'd randomly met in Hanoi (he was a creature in Hanoi- the 2nd impression was def better!) we went for a wonder and obvs did some shopping! The islands lush!! The sea is so clear! We booked a boat trip through a woman who asked us to draw a poster for her but we had to do it a few times as it wasnt good enough!! We ended up going out with a guy from our hostel called Alan who took us to get some amazing (or lethal if your sarah or bethan) strawberry daiquiri BUCKETS!! welshies cant drink!! the amount of rum that went in one was ridic! We ended up partying all night on the beach watching some insane fire dancers and did the limbo under a pole which was on fire! Bethan had to go home early (the lightweight!!) and Sarah got home and spewed off the top bunk all over James and the wall! Haaa!!
We had to be up early for the boat trip.. Bethan and Sarah were not feeling amazing and Sarah was sick off the side of the boat as the sea was so rough! It was so rough even Kate had to lie on the sand for a while as she had sea sickness! We visited maya bay (where the beach was filmed!! it also was where the tsunami hit and had tsunami evacuation signs everywhere!) monkey beach (where a monkey stole sarahs sprite!), bamboo island, a lagoon (which was tho amazing blue colour and had a swing!) and snorkelling! We Got back to the hostel to find it flooded every time someone had a shower so we had to sleep spooning our massive backpacks! After 2 days the fixed it but the water was turned off for hours so we couldn't even use the toilets for hours!! We ended up going out 4 nights in a row to slinkys (the beach club) and banana bar which was this really cool roof top bar. One of the nights we stayed on the beach until 6am witnessed some random fight between a russian couple and some Thais and the Russians were so scared they asked us to walk them home ... Pussycats really!! Bethan got sun stroke and was sooooo ill she had to spend 2 days in bed being sick so we ended up having to stay in phi phi for an extra night - not a bad place to he stuck tho its literally paradise!!
