After arriving at their beautiful home we settled down downstairs/ invaded and decided to head I Manley beach for the day! We headed in and walked up the beach only to watch Kelly slater the world no1 surfer surfing the waves in Manley!! After getting pushed around in the waves (even Kate managed to get on the water) we headed in for food and a bit of shopping! Kris and Pete met us for food in the evening and we only had fish and chips on the beach.... Heaven!! After our fish and chips we went to a drive through off licence where if you knew what you wanted you can get your alcohol delivered to your car! We then headed out for a night out with Liam in Manley! We headed into a lovely bar with loads of fitties in (Sydney is defo the place to be for fitties) and then headed to a night club and partied the night away! We worked up a hearty appetite and manage a pie at the end of the night and met some of Liam's friends so gained a couple of brownie points for him!!
The next day we had Angus to ourselves and he was our official tour guide for the day! We saw the harbour bridge and the Sydney opera house, trekking around for the best piccy spots!! Fact of the day that there was two trees that had been then since Australia was discovered (can't remember the name!!) We then had a spot of lunch alfresco and headed shopping (again!!) and even managed a gander in Topshop! That even we had our first traditional Aussie barbie! Steak, sausages salad and chips and even a pavlova for desert! After that we headed into the hot top for some chill time to prepare for the next day!
The next day started well with the arrival p my passport HURRAY!!! We then headed to the zoo with the dalton twins! Angus was out tour guide around the zoo as he volunteers there and we saw some proper Aussie creatures such as koala bears (we were fuming that we couldn't hold then as it 'stresses the koalas' :( ), kangaroos, Tasmanian devils and a bantarong! So we learnt a lot that day too! After the Oo experience we headed back and strayed drinking. The Daltons then set out another fantastic spread of spaghetti bolagnaise and THE BEST sticky toffee puddings I hae ever had made by Pete's own fair hands! After the feast we headed into a Sydney and went to scubar where we saw the entire cast of Geordie shore!! After a couple of stalking piccies we danced the night away and then headed back in the taxi in the pouring rain!!
The next day we were up at 7 after the night before!! We headed to the train station and said out goodbyes :(!! Vert emotional!
We just want to all want to say a massive thank you to the dalton family who took us in as there own 'chickens' and made us feel so at home! The trip wouldn't have been the same without you! We all love you and miss you! GET TO BRITAIN SOON! Xxx
